The included 300W charger can fully charge a 1534Wh battery in 5 hours and 17 minutes. Although this is the maximum speed you can get with the included charger, Jackery provides two DC charging ports for the Explorer 1500, which means you can double the power of the 300W charger or mix and match with solar charging at the same time. 

The 1800W (3600W surge) inverter works as advertised. We were able to test it with two window air conditioners because there was enough time to power desktop computers, 28-inch monitors, studio lights, and also charge several mobile phones.

The only thing that disappoints us a bit is the efficiency of the 1534Wh battery. In our test, after fully charged, we can only consume 1140Wh of AC power, with an efficiency rating of 74.3%. Compared with other solar generators, the Explorer 1500 is one of the least efficient devices we have tested, 2.5 percentage points lower than the average. 

Jackery Explorer 1500 is priced at $1,600. This is by no means a cheap investment, but if you do camping or fishing often, the Explorer 1500 may be a good investment. Large battery packs and inverters also make it ideal for those looking for a backup power system during a power outage, where you can keep most of the essentials energized until power is restored, especially since Jackery solar panels will be able to Charge the battery during the day.
