Huawei, Sungrow and Growatt are the 3 largest inverter manufacturers in the world.The top 10 inverter manufacturers account for a worldwide market share of 82 percent.Wood Mackenzie reports that.The worldwide supply of inverters from solar panels increased by 22 percent - or 40,250 megawatts - to 225,386 megawatts last year.The growth is mainly driven by markets in Europe, India and Latin America, according to the market research firm.“Despite rising raw material prices, supply chain challenges and delayed completion of solar projects, global deliveries of PV inverters continue to rise,” said Wood Mackenzie research analyst Annie Rabi Bernard."Leading suppliers have grown and the top players continue to consolidate their market share in 2021."For the seventh consecutive year, Huawei and Sungrow continue to lead the 'peloton' by taking first and second positions respectively.Huawei's market share held steady at 23 percent in 2021, while Sungrow ranks second at around 21 percent, up from around 19 percent a year earlier.Runner-up Growatt accounted for 7 percent market share and drove SMA out of the top 3.
