The Italian inverter manufacturer said that these two devices are designed to cope with the ever-increasing current of photovoltaic modules. These inverters have a power output range of 10 to 33 kW and are said to reach an input voltage of 1100 V (DC).

The output power of these two inverters ranges from 10 kW to 33 kW.

Italian inverter manufacturer Fimer is preparing to launch two new string inverters for residential, commercial and industrial photovoltaic projects.

The two inverters marked PVS-10/12.5/15-TL and PVS-20/30/33-TL have a power output range of 10 to 33 kW, and are said to have an input voltage of up to 1100 V (DC).

The manufacturer stated that the most powerful device in the series has been developed to cope with the increasing current of photovoltaic modules, such as bifacial modules, and pointed out that both inverters have current monitoring for each string, allowing more Long strings and work in a wider temperature range.

Both devices also have potential induced degradation (PID) prevention and an integrated zero-export system, which the manufacturer says can save BoS and eliminate the need for expensive additional equipment. "Integrated wifi/Ethernet for TCP/IP networks allows for cost-effective networks and ready-made alternatives," Fimer further explained. "Moreover, for retrofit applications, the inverter series provides unique DC side flexibility."

It is said that these two inverters can also achieve quick installation, easy handling and maintenance, and quick commissioning through the company's dedicated application. More detailed information about the product will be officially announced later this month.

Fimer is known for its centralized inverter business and announced plans to enter the string inverter business in 2018.
