LT PowerBox 26 kWh + ZCS Azzurro 3PH 10000 10kW for domestic useThe LT PowerBox 26 set with the Azzurro 10kW inverter was installed in a single-family house, equipped with a 10kWp photovoltaic installation, with E / W orientation and a monthly electricity consumption of 500kWh.The energy storage was installed to increase the consumption of auto-generated energy and to provide emergency power in the event of a power failure from the grid.The above chart shows the operation of the system on 04/12/2022.As you can see, it was a sunny day and the PV installation was working at full capacity.It produced a total of 49.67 kWh.As is typical of an E / W-oriented installation, the peak of production was at sunny noon, when both sides of the roof were evenly illuminated.At the beginning of the day, the energy storage was charged to 74%, so it was fully loaded before noon and absorbed 6.76kWh of energy.The rest of the energy was either used for self-consumption or sent to the grid.Thanks to charging the battery to 100%, we can power this household for up to two cloudy days without drawing electricity from the grid and PV production.Additionally, the device enables emergency power supply in the event of a power failure in the network.The chart above shows an example of when PV production has equated with consumption.The warehouse supported the household at times of increased consumption, i.e. when the PV energy was lower than the household's demand.This is clearly visible on the graph around 7:00, 8:30 and 13:00.The increased energy consumption was caused by the operation of the hydrophore.Thanks to the use of the LT PowerBox 26 energy storage, on that day the household did not draw energy from the grid and thus became a green island.For this configuration and the presented household, there were over 240 such days a year.The chart below shows the amount of energy produced in 2022 (2,707 kWh).Thanks to the use of energy storage, the export of energy to the grid has been significantly reduced (909kWh), and the self-consumption has increased by 1139 kWh, which is an average of 76% annually.The Azzurro 3PH HYD 10000 inverter used is a compact design, which makes it very suitable for households where there is no room for complex systems.An undoubted advantage is the built-in automatic switching to emergency power supply, so the user does not have to buy this system separately.The inverter is also equipped with two battery sockets, so in the future, as the needs increase (e.g. charging an electric car), it is very easy to expand the installation with a second battery.It should be mentioned that from July last year until today the inverter processed over 2 MWh by the LT PowerBox 26 battery.What should be emphasized is that the ZCS Azzurro three-phase hybrid inverters work with the full declared nominal power of 5, 6, 8, 10, 15, 20 kW. functions as a power guard and fully protects a medium-sized household.The system also enables supplementing the power drawn from the available connection, e.g. 10kW, with the power coming from the LT PowerBox-Azzurro.In this way, we have the power of e.g. 10 + 10 kW, 10 + 15kW or 10 + 20kW.In this system, the use of a 22 kW car charger does not disturb the household energy management.Bearing in mind the improvement of self-consumption and care not to exceed the sum of the connected load and the nominal capacity of the inverter, e.g. when using an electric car charger, which for three-phase systems was designed by ZCS Azzurro with a nominal power of 22 kW, the Connext module (HEMS - Home Energy) is the perfect complement to the system. The warehouse is loaded during the hours outside the operation of the industrial plant (20: 00-7: 00).Thanks to this, it is possible to use energy stored in the cheaper night tariff during the day.Additionally, the PV installation supports this process.The graph below clearly shows the time period for loading and unloading the warehouse during the day, supported by the PV installation.Even on a cloudy day (reduced PV yield), the inverter supplies the facility with the required amount of energy thanks to the large, capacious LT PowerBox 265 battery.The applied system supports the operation of the plant regardless of weather conditions, providing 22 kW of power every day during working hours.The Azzurro 20 kW inverter is perfect for this task, as it can easily handle even a large-capacity battery.The diagram below shows the operation of the system in 2022.
