Energy - OthersGas and biogasEnergy policy and regulationsTransmission and distributionThe magazine Energética has consulted the most prominent international manufacturers of photovoltaic inverters -among them, 5 of the 6 largest companies in the sector by volume of orders supplied in 2021- to listen to their opinions and check the trends that are marking the development of some equipment keys in any solar installation, both in large plants and in self-consumption.What kind of photovoltaic inverters does your company manufacture?In what sectors is this equipment used (large plants, residential self-consumption, industrial self-consumption, isolated installations, etc.)Riello Solartech is a manufacturer of solar inverters and ESS systems or hybrid systems.Our equipment can be used from residential self-consumption installations to utility-scale plants.What technological innovations do you think will define the development of investors in the coming years?In a certain aspect, the development of solar inverters is influenced by the development of solar modules, with more and more power, and thus more current per MPPT.Technologically, changes in inverters are constant, given the important progress in photovoltaic modules.Day-to-day integration is key: we must be able to integrate the equipment into the day-to-day life of our homes, making the inverters an important part of being able to manage (along with the batteries) photovoltaic production and the electric car.Finally, the battery is essential, without a doubt, and its integration into the current electrical system.How is the increase in the cost of raw materials and logistical and transport problems affecting the manufacture and supply of inverters?They do not affect us at the moment.Circumstances such as the lack of chips, according to our forecasts and given our knowledge of the Spanish market, are within expectations, with which we can guarantee our customers the supply of equipment throughout the remaining year and 2023. On the other hand, the transportation is a complicated issue.Once the material leaves our facilities, we must trust the good work of the transport companies.It is important to be patient, there are many companies that do not have stock, and do not know when they will have it, so we must think positive.Regarding the increase in costs, at the moment and thanks to the management carried out by Riello's Purchasing department at an international level, our prices have not risen.How do you think the business in the photovoltaic inverter sector will evolve in 2022?What business prospects does your company foresee?Right now we are facing a market bubble, not only due to the price of MWh, subsidies... but also due to the lack of material by the large manufacturers of solar inverters such as Huawei, Fronius, SMA, which have increased the consumption of other investors in the market, so this year's figures are not real.In addition, this stoppage of the big ones will undoubtedly lead to a rise in the price of their products.Our forecasts are to grow in the photovoltaic market in Spain.Let's remember that we have been here since 2006 and, in addition to growing, the idea is to stay after this succulent bubble.We are dedicating ourselves to securing lifelong customers and expanding with customers upset with the competition.Privacy Policy |Cookies |Legal notice |Additional Information
