Samsung announced this Tuesday (04) its new generation of air conditioning products in Brazil. The family brings updated functions and promises more energy efficiency to help consumers save on electricity bills and reduce costs in their businesses with the new models of the commercial line.
There are models for all tastes — from the most basic ones for less demanding users to devices compatible with SmartThings, the manufacturer’s smart home ecosystem that guarantees integration with other smart homeenabling automation of functions, power consumption status and more.
Samsung highlights WindFree Connect, its most advanced air conditioner that will be sold in capacities of 9,000, 12,000, 18,000 and 22,000 BTUs. The model integrates with the smart home and offers exclusive functions through the SmartThings app, available for Android and iOS, such as monitoring energy consumption in the “Energy” section.
It is also possible to control the air conditioning remotely with functions to turn on, off, control the temperature, among others. WindFree Connect is available in “Cold” and “Hot and Cold” versions, which becomes a much more versatile climate option by also offering heating during winter.
Another highlight of its top of the line is its list of functions with artificial intelligence, which enables functions such as AI Auto Cooling, responsible for detecting ambient conditions and automatically adjusting your system to make the place more pleasant based on the user’s preferred temperatures. .
WindFree, also available in “Hot and Cold” or “Cold”, brings even more energy savings in its new generation. Thanks to Digital Inverter Ultra technology, the model is able to reduce spending by up to 77% while delivering excellent climate control in 9,000, 12,000, 18,000 and 22,000 BTU versions.
The WindFree Powervolt boasts the same energy efficiency — such that it is certified with the maximum Inmetro rating — and, in the same sense, is the most resistant model to electricity transfer peaks, supporting currents of 127V and 220V. This model is only available in 9,000 and 12,000 BTUs and in the “Cold” version.
The model with POWERVolt technology adds some Connect features, such as Good Sleep mode, which monitors the temperature and humidity of the room to keep you comfortable during the night’s sleep; and the Freeze Wash, which sterilizes its filter capable of retaining up to 99.9% of pathogens that can cause respiratory problems.

The DVM Chiller is capable of cooling an entire building, according to the manufacturer. With modular design, its differentiated installation allows it to be added to an existing air conditioning system in the building.
