Tesla has signed an agreement with Alset EHome, a new home builder, to equip the new community under construction with Tesla solar panels, Powerwall and electric car chargers.

The idea of built-in solar energy and energy storage began to become popular in the real estate development field.

Homeowners see the value of their own energy production and can add this value on the first day of the new house, rather than retrofitting the new house with solar panels after it is built.

Now this is what will happen to the new community being developed outside Houston.

Real estate developer and new home builder Alset EHome announced an agreement with Tesla to provide solar panels, Powerwall and electric car chargers for 20 new homes under construction in Porter, Texas:

"Alset EHome Inc., a real estate developer headquartered in the United States and a subsidiary of Alset EHome International Inc., is pleased to announce a strategic agreement with Tesla Inc. to initially supply Tesla photovoltaic solar panels, Powerwall and electric vehicles Chargers, these devices will be installed in one-time-family homes ("Ehomes"). These Tesla products will be installed in 20 brand new single-family homes in the Northpark community in Porter, Texas. In addition to these 20 suites Outside the house, Alset also has 10 contract houses in the same community, which are scheduled to close at the end of this month. Looking ahead, we plan to acquire 70 more units in the Houston area, with the goal of delivering 100 Ehomes in 2021."

The concept of Alset EHome revolves around the houses it is building with built-in sustainability. Solar energy and energy storage power energy-saving smart home functions:

Charley MacKenzie, U.S. CEO of Alset Ehome, Inc. commented on the agreement with Tesla:

"We are providing what we believe will be a model housing ecosystem in the future. As more and more people want to make sustainable choices when choosing a house, we are keen to provide our customers with the easiest transition. This It will also help accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy."

Although this is a small-scale deployment of Tesla's energy division products, it can help itself gain a foothold in the new home market.

Alset Ehome's two communities plan to build hundreds of new homes. In addition, they have developed these projects in cooperation with the two largest residential builders in the United States, NVR and Rausch Coleman Homes.

If this new partnership succeeds, they may be inclined to extend it to other communities under construction.

Alset EHome is talking about delivering 100 new homes this year alone, with 650 more under construction.
